これは1987年の香港映画「チャイニーズ・ゴースト・ストーリー（倩女幽魂）」の中で、ウー・マの扮する道士が踊るシーンを描いたものです。このシーンは前後の脈絡が何も無く唐突に始まり、オジサンの歌う「道（トウ）、道道道…」という歌とともにウー・マが踊り出します。その踊りというのがブレイクダンスみたいに地面を転げ回ったり暴れ回ったりしているだけみたいな変な踊りで、この唐突なミュージカルは非常にインパクトが有りました。

ウー・マは上記の「チャイニーズ・ゴースト・ストーリー」の道士の役柄がよほど気に入ったとみえて、これと全く同じキャラクターを主人公にして、自ら監督・主演した「画中仙（畫中仙）」(1988)という映画を作ってしまいました。この映画のオープニングは、とんでもない始まり方で、映画の冒頭、登場したウー・マは突然裸で踊り出します。音楽に合わせて新体操のお姉さんみたいに手拭いをフリフリしながら実に楽しそうに踊ってます。

Wu Ma seemed to like the Taoist priest role in "A Chinese Ghost Story" so much that he made a movie "Picture of a Nymph" (1988), which he directed and starred in, with the exact same character as the protagonist of the movie above. The opening of this movie is a ridiculous start. Wu Ma appears at the beginning of the movie and suddenly starts dancing naked. He dances to the music, waving his towel like a girl in rhythmic gymnastics, and looks like he is having a great time.
